About

I'm Jennifer Sirirat and thanks for visiting my website!

I am a geographer and healthcare specialist with a strong commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals in need. With a background in health and disaster response, I have developed robust medical information and communication skills. I am now seeking to advance my expertise in spatial analysis to deepen my understanding of the interconnections between people, places, and phenomena.

As an early-career spatial professional, I remain adaptable and eager to enhance my skills across diverse industries.  I have a strong inclination toward projects that address critical challenges in sectors such as healthcare, public health, and disaster response.

Upon completing my GIS certificate in the summer of 2024, I completed a GIS internship with the U.S. Geological Survey. In this role, I contributed to GIS project development, generated GIS data, created maps, and conducted fieldwork that supported the research titled "Critical Element Characterization and Phytoextraction Potential of Ultramafic Deposits," which pertains to geologic scientific research. My contributions positively impacted real-world implications related to mining, public welfare, the economy, and the environment. The results of my project were further developed and presented at the AGU conference in December 2024.

I am eager to find ways to contribute to solving spatial problems and addressing needs in emergency response. I look forward to the opportunity to connect and collaborate with you. â€‹
